Regional Alcohol and Drug Awareness Resource Centers (RADAR)
Mississippi has six RADAR centers funded through the Mississippi Department of Mental Health, Bureau of Alcohol and Drug Abuse. These centers provide a limited number of free prevention resource materials to people seeking information and resources for substance abuse prevention. Materials are available on a wide range of subjects from alcohol to methamphetamine to suicide to HIV/AIDs and are available for all audiences including youth, parents, teachers, businesses, and other interested parties. Educational pamphlets, brochures, posters, and fact sheets are available and videos, DVDs and curricula are available for check-out. Call or visit one of these centers today.
